Delhi Capitals to top IPL 2020 Points Table, feels Scott Styris

On Monday, on Twitter, Scott Styris predicted the positions of all the team at the end of the league stage. The all-rounder predicts that Delhi Capitals will top the tables at IPL 2020. Capitals have got a dynamic side by their side. With a good mix of experienced and young players, Delhi seems raring to go. Number 2 on his list is Rohit’s MI. Mumbai for long has been a powerhouse in the history of IPL.

Following MI is Dinesh Karthik-led KKR. Kolkata has one of the best teams on paper. With Andre Russel, Eoin Morgan, Sunil Narine, and Patrick Cummins in their side, they look lethal. Backing up KKR is CSK in the fourth position. Scott, who has played for CSK in the past, would have ranked CSK much higher. But, with the absence of Raina and Harbhajan, CSK might look pale this year.

Talking about the bottom half of the table, Scott places SRH – lead by Warner – at the fifth place. Well, this looks one strange prediction as SRH has the likes of Warner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Johnny Bairstow, and Rashid Khan. Following SRH is Virat Kohli-led RCB in the sixth place. Despite having great players like Kohli and ABD, RCB has failed to qualify for the playoffs since 2016.

RR finds the bottom-most position in Styris’ list

The all-rounder places KXIP and RR at 7th and 8th positions respectively. KXIP possesses great talents like KL Rahul, Gayle, and Shami. Meanwhile, RR has Steve Smith, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer.
