Despite being in the Indian cricket team for about 6 consecutive years now Chahal has been dropped from the Indian squad. BCCI went on with only one leg spinner and that was not Yuzvedra Chahal which triggered the famous player’s wife. The right-arm leg spinner from Haryana played his last One-day International against New Zealand in January this year. The latter played only the last ODI of the series in which he picked 2 wickets with an economy close to 6 runs per over.
Since then the player has failed to get a chance to feature in the 50-over squad. However, he did get the chance to play for India in the recently helped T20I series against West Indies where his performance was below average. Chahal gave 51 runs in his 4-over spell going wicket which resulted in India losing the series 3-2 to the Windies.
Following his poor performance in the T20I series against West Indies the management decided to drop him from the Asia Cup 2023 squad. Moreover, there are very less likely chances for him to feature in the ODI World Cup 2023 squad as BCCI confirmed they will select their squad on the basis of Asia Cup 2023 performance.

The wife of a 33-year-old Indian leg spinner is very much active on social media and has a lot of followers as well. Dhanashree who is known for his entertaining dancing reels posted a story in which a sceptic quote was written.
The netizens are relating it as the reply to BCCI selectors who dropped her beloved husband from the Indian team traveling to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup 2023. Some fans are even assuming it to be referring to fellow leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav who is included in the Asia Cup 2023 squad ahead of Chahal.
The quote has the saying “Now I have started to question this on a serious note. If being super submissive & introvert can be harmful for your work growth? Or do we all have to be an extrovert & street-smart savvy to grow in life?”

The story of Dhanashree is getting viral on social media and fans have already started to make a fuss out of it. However, Chahal and Dhanashree are yet to have their official say about the selection of the Asia Cup squad.
