Chahal was not retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore before the Mega Auction 2022. Eventually, the street-smart leggie was picked by the Rajasthan Royals and their decision to pick him is reaping good fruit so far. In a video that has been shared on the official Twitter account of the RR team, Yuzvendra Chahal shares one of the most terrible experiences from his life.

Though, Chahal is known to be a great prankster himself, this near-death experience shared by him came as a complete surprise for the fans. In the incident shared by Chahal, he recalled how one MI player hung him on the balcony of 15th floor and even the slightest of mistakes could have cost him his life. This life-threatening incident was not reported by Chahal or any other player who were present with him at that time.

Recalling the incident, Chahal said, “I never told this story, from today everyone will know. This dates back to 2013 when I was with Mumbai Indians we had a match in Bangalore. There was a get-together after that. So there was a player who was very drunk, I won’t say his name. He was very drunk, he was looking at me for a long time and he just called me and he took me outside and he hung me on the balcony. This was one incident where I felt I made a narrow escape.”
