The Indian Premier League has commenced and the most influential franchise of the league will be looking to change their faith this season. RCB’s famous slogan ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’ is widely popular across the globe. RCB skipper Faf du Plessis commits a blunder by saying ‘Ee sala cup nahi’ in an event conducted by RCB.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is yet to play their first game of the IPL 2023 and their preparation have been off and running. They will play Mumbai Indians at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on the 2nd of April in their first match of the season.

In the previous season under the captaincy of the new captain, Faf Duplessis’s team performed well and even reached qualifier 2. Unfortunately, they couldn’t beat Rajasthan Royals in qualifier 2 but the team looked more balanced than ever under Faf’s leadership.

Faf du Plessis said ‘Ee sala cup nahi’ instead of ‘Ee sala cup namde’

In an event in Bangalore two of the face of RCB Faf Duplessis and Virat Kohli were invited. There were some questions asked of both of them.

During the event, Faf mistakenly spelled the famous RCB slogan wrong. Instead of Ee Sala Cup Namde, (this year the cup is ours) he said ‘Ee Sala Cup Nahi’ (this year no cup) which made Virat Kohli a belly laugh. Although the skipper was completely unaware that he said the exact opposite meaning of the phrase.

Faf immediately correct his mispronunciation sentence but the player couldn’t save himself from embarrassment.

Kohli’s evil laugh was seen in the lately held Hall of fame induction as well. In that event, ABD pronounced the famous RCB slogan right for the first time which made Kohli laugh.

RCB has won 4 out of the last 5 matches despite MI having the upper hand over RCB in the overall head-to-head matches.

Faf and Kohli the key to success for RCB

The RCB fans will be counting on the two most experienced players of RCB Faf and Kohli. Faf scored the most runs for RCB in his first season for the franchise.

The skipper is one of the most consistent performers on the team along with Kohli. Once again RCB will be heavily relying on their batters to perform.
