Fans come up with hilarious responses to Kent Cricket’s post mocking Virat Kohli

After months in lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, restrictions were eased a bit in the United Kingdom for outdoor and sports activities. In a respite for cricket, the game saw a return with England hosting the West Indies in a three-match test series. Featuring in the England line-up is Kent Cricketer, Joe Denly, whose knock of 18 in the first innings led to a rather uncalled for dig by the Kent Cricket Club (KCC)at Indian captain Virat Kohli. But Kohli’s fans were quick to come up with their own hilarious responses to the KCC’s post.

Kent Cricket’s Dig At Kohli
The proceedings of the first test between England and the West Indies featured Kent cricketer Joe Denly. When Denly was batting on 14 in the first innings, the county came up with a unusual (perhaps for some fun) lame dig at Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli through their twitter handle. The post was on Kohli not getting a run ever since the lockdown began, while Denly has managed 14 (he eventually got out on 18).

Fans Troll Kent Cricket With Hilarious Responses
Cricket fans were quick to respond to the post in a hilarious manner, but rather not offensive. From comparing Denly to be ‘One of the Big Five’ to even calling him a ‘GOAT’. Some of the tweets that followed:

Kohli Out of Action
Well, we’d rather agree with the Kent Cricket Club on this one. For Denly’s scores are priceless at the moment as Kohli has been out of action ever since the game was restricted due to the lockdown. Fans in India will have to cautiously wait till the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) decides go the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) in resuming the game after the long break.
