Fans suspect something is fishy in MI camp as Tymal Mills deleted the tweet declaring himself fit

As per reports, Dhawal Kulkarni may replace an injured player in MI squad.

The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season has not been great for Mumbai Indians (MI) so far and it seems that drama is continuing off the field too. There were speculations surrounding Dhawal Kulkarni and him likely joining the MI squad for the remainder of IPL 2022 has gained steam when left-arm English pacer Tymal Mill mysteriously deleted a tweet clarifying he is not injured.

Some reports suggested that that Mills had picked up an injury and is likely to miss the remaining portion of the ongoing IPL. Later, in a tweet, Mills had mentioned that he is ‘absolutely fine’ and that there is no credibility in such reports.

“I have no idea who you are or where you got this information from, but you are wrong. I am perfectly fine. Please remove this post,” Mills replied to an account reporting his injury. He later deleted the tweet from his handle, which makes things rather interesting.

The Englishman has played five matches in this season’s IPL and picked up six wickets, but has gone wicketless in the last two games and conceded 54 runs against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Dhawal Kulkarni to join Mumbai Indians, says reports

Kulkarni, is currently part of the Star Sports’ Hindi broadcasting panel. He was originally one of the names , along with veteran Ishant Sharma, as a possible replacement for the injured Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Deepak Chahar. But CSK opted not to have a replacement for the 29-year-old, who has been ruled out of IPL 2022 due to a back injury.

Dhawan Kulkarni played for MI in 2020-21.

The five-time-champions are having the worst start to an IPL campaign in their history and are at the bottom of the points table with no points to show for them in the six matches that they’ve played so far. The team seems to have lost the fighting spirit that they have displayed in the past.

MI are going to play CSK in their next match and if they lose it could be the final nail in the coffin for them. They have some tough run of fixtures and the MI faithfuls would be hoping that players step up and deliver. It would be interesting to see what will happen in the MI camp next.
