‘Fear of Kohli’ – Fans troll Kevin Pietersen for his request to Virat ahead of IND vs ENG semi-final

Kohli has been in incredible form during the ongoing T20 World Cup and will be a giant threat to the England side on November 10.

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has come out on Instagram to drop a request for Virat Kohli ahead of the IND vs ENG semi-final match of the 2022 T20 World Cup.

The King Kohli juggernaut has been running apace in the ongoing tournament and the batsman leads the run-scoring charts with 246 runs off 5 innings at an unreal average of 123 runs per dismissal.

King Kohli shared a montage of his batting from the net session Team India had today at the Adelaide Oval on his Instagram.

Reacting to the short video, cricketer turned commentator Kevin Pietersen dropped a comment requesting Virat Kohli to not play the semi-final against England that is gonna be held this Thursday, November 10.

His Instagram comment reads, “Please have a day off Thursday, bud (buddy)! You know I love you but just chill Thursday please”.

Interestingly, Indian cricket fans have barged in on the occasion and a lot of troll replies can be seen below Kevin’s comment.

Some are claiming that Kevin Pietersen is acting out of fear of Virat Kohli, while others have recommended KP and his English side start packing their bags beforehand.

Notably, Kohli and Kevin Pietersen share a great bond together. The England great has time and again heaped praises on Virat Kohli. Cheeku, on the other hand, considers KP one of his favorite batsmen of all time.

Kohli has a great record at Adelaide Oval and his most recent knock at the ground was a M.O.T.M. winning 64 not out off 44 deliveries against Bangladesh. Interestingly, he needs just 42 more runs to become the 1st ever batsman to touch the 4000 run mark in T20 international cricket.
