‘Fixer ko Sixer’ – Harbhajan Singh brutally slams Mohammad Amir for his ‘TV to nahi toda’ comment

The rivalry between India and Pakistan is known to the world and it was re-lived by the fans on Sunday when India faced Pakistan in the T20 World Cup after 5 long years. Though the match is done and dusted, the aftereffects of the result can still be seen. Recently, Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Amir got involved in an ugly war of words on social media.

Pakistan defeated team India with a huge margin of 10 wickets in their opening encounter of the T20 World Cup. The fans were taken by surprise as they were not in for such a loss for the Indian team. It was the first time ever when Pakistan came out victorious in a T20 World Cup match against India. After the match, Mohammad Amir taunted the Turbanator with his tweet and from there, things between Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Amir escalated to a whole different level.

Taking a dig at India’s loss, Amir tweeted, “hello everyone who pochna yeah tha @harbhajan_singh paa ji ne TV to ni tora apna koi ni hota hai end of the day its a game of cricket”, followed by a smiley.

Harbhajan replied to the tweet by posting an old video of himself hitting Amir for a maximum. What initially started as a fun banter between Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Amir, turned to be an ugly war of words later on. So much so, that the Turbanator even brought up the ‘spot fixing’ scandal. Below is a series of tweets followed after the Pakistan pacer’s tweet.

Harbhajan wrote, “Lords mai no ball kaise ho gya tha?? Kitna liya kisne diya ? Test cricket hai no ball kaise ho sakta hai ? Shame on u and ur other supporters for disgracing this beautiful game”. Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Amir kept taking shots at each other on Twitter and Harbhajan reshared the same video he posted earlier with the caption, “Fixer ko sixer.. out of the park @iamamirofficial chal daffa ho ja”.

The clash between India and Pakistan was emotionally charged and fans from both countries hoped for their team to win. Ultimately, it was Pakistan that thrashed India by 10 wickets. It was this result of the game that started everything between Harbhajan Singh and Mohammad Amir on Twitter which surely turned to be an ugly war of words.
