‘Gaadi aaram se chalaya kar’ – Old video of Shikhar Dhawan’s advice to Rishabh Pant goes viral after latter’s car accident

The video from 2019 when Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant were part of Delhi Capitals has gone viral.

Team India’s young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant met with a deadly car accident on Friday morning as his car hit a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway as he was travelling to Roorkee.

Just after the news broke out, a video went viral on social media in which India’s senior opener Shikhar Dhawan can be seen giving advice to the star wicketkeeper.

Shikhar Dhawan’s advice to Rishabh Pant goes viral on the internet

The said viral video shows a conversation between Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant where the Indian wicketkeeper asked his senior pro to give him some advice during the IPL 2019 season to which the senior Indian batter asked him to drive carefully.

“Any advice that you would like to give me?” Pant can be heard telling Dhawan in the video. “Any? Gaadi araam se chalaya kar (Drive a bit more slowly),” Dhawan replies and both Pant and Dhawan burst into laughter. The video was posted on Twitter by a user named Rica Roy with the caption, This was Shikhar Dhawan’s golden advise to Rishabh Pant three years ago..”

It’s worth noting that Pant was alone in his car when the car hit a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. He broke the Mercedes windscreen to escape from the vehicle after it caught fire. Reportedly, a bus driver and conductor of Haryana Roadways named Sushil Kumar and Paramjeet helped him get out of his luxury car.

Pant suffered two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and bruises on his back. However, he was conscious at the time of the severe accident and his condition is said to be stable as of now. Rishabh is currently receiving treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun.

The whole cricket fraternity was in utmost shock as the news about Rishabh Pant’s accident broke out. Most of India’s former cricketers including Virender Sehwag and NCA chief VVS Laxman tweeted as they hope for Pant’s speedy recovery, while Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government will bear the entire expense of Rishabh Pant’s treatment.
