The incident came in the 17th over of the RR inning when Sam Curran was bowling to Glenn Phillips. It was very hot and humid in Abu Dhabi and the players were sweating. Curran bowled a delivery that slipped out of his hand, looped in the air and Phillips hilariously chased it in a bid to hit the ball, however, it was too far from the batsman. The incident surely was a funny one as it sparked some laughter.

Earlier, RR skipper Sanju Samson opted to bowl after winning the toss, however, the CSK batsmen were up to the task. CSK gave a stiff target of 190 to RR, and it looked like RR would find it very difficult to chase, but the viewers were in for a surprise.
