The T20 World Cup commenced on 17th October and the Indian fans will definitely want their team to end the 14-year drought by winning the 2021 edition of the tournament. Qualification matches and warm-up games are taking place currently and the league matches will start from 23rd October. Team India played their first warm-up game against England on 18th October which left Parthiv Patel worried about one Indian player.

All the Indian players recently played the Indian Premier League and they carried the momentum in their first warm-up game against England. Most of the players looked in touch, however, there are few who didn’t perform as the fans and the team management would have liked them to. Parthiv Patel is particularly worried about one Star player and he is Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Parthiv Patel worried about Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar has not been in the best of forms ever since he came back from his injury. In the recently concluded IPL, Kumar could only claim six wickets and the same was seen in the first warm-up game where he looked out of rhythm. Parthiv Patel is worried because we all witnessed the same Bhuvneshwar that we witnessed in IPL, which is surely a cause of concern.

Parthiv Patel even went on to say that Kumar looked as if he didn’t practice. The ex-Indian player opined that in the absence of Hardik Pandya’s bowling, Shardul Thakur may be given priority over Bhuvneshwar Kumar who is struggling with his form. There has been a big question mark on Pandya’s bowling which makes way for Thakur.
