All the franchises are set for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League and the players have started their preparations for the same. The 2022 edition of the IPL will see 2 new entrants in the form of Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans. Gujarat picked Hardik as their draft pick at a whopping INR 15 crore. In a recent interaction with the media, the all-rounder gave a wacky reply for which fans criticize Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya has struggled with a lower back injury over the past few years and haven’t been able to act as an all-rounder for the team. Even when he took the field as a pure batsman, the spark was missing. Gujarat Titans unveiled their jersey on March 13 and during the media interaction, a journalist asked Hardik about his chances of bowling in the upcoming season of IPL.

Hardik was tight-lipped about the bowling update and instead gave a quirky reply to the journalist saying, “Sir Surprise hai woh, Surprise ko surprise rehne do.” The fans didn’t like the way Hardik answered the question and are criticizing him for his reply. Gujarat Titans will play their first match of the league on 28th March against another new entrant of IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants.
