A love triangle is something which disturbs the lives of people involved in the triangle. And when someone married falls in love triangle it even ruins the lives. You will be amazed that Indian cricketers Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay were also involved in a love triangle. Both were once good friends but today they don’t want to see each other’s face. But Few know that Vijay was the reason behind Karthik’s divorce with his first wife.
Dinesh Karthik & Murali Vijay Tale
In 2007, at the age of 21, Dinesh Karthik married his childhood friend Nikita Vanjara. Nikita’s father and Dinesh’s father were good friends and their children grew up together. Both kids fond of each other as they get older. Both the families decided to turn the friendship into a relationship and both the youngsters were eager too. As soon as they completed the marriageable age, both families fixed their marriage. Both tied the knot in Mumbai.
However, after 5 years of marriage, Nikita started losing her interest to Dinesh Karthik as she fell in love with Murali Vijay who was a teammate of Karthik in Tamil Nadu team. In 2012, Tamil Nadu team was playing a crucial Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Karnataka. During this match, Karthik came to know about his wife’s affair with Murali Vijay. The incident led Karthik to take divorce from her.
When Karthik gave divorce to Nikita, she was pregnant with a boy. Soon, Nitika and Murali Vijay married each other. The matter of divorce was handled by both sides very quickly and quietly. Today, Murali Vijay and Nikita are parents of 3 children.
After This Incident
However, after this incident, Karthik and Vijay had to play together in circumstances. In 2018, both get a place in the test team for the England tour of India. It was a very awkward moment for them. Both didn’t spot communicating during the series.

After getting betrayed, Dinesh Karthik found his true love. In 2015, he met Indian squash player Deepika Pallikal when they were taking fitness session under the same coach. Deepika used to hate cricketers as she believed that the kind of hype and fame that they get dwarfs other sportspersons. But after a few meetings with Karthik, her misconceptions proved wrong. Both fell in love and started dating each other. In August 2015, both tied the knot.
