Former South African skipper Faf Du Plessis has come up with an explosive remark against David Warner.
Faf Du Plessis has called David Warner a “bully” and believes he was jealous of his team-mate AB de Villiers.

South Africa and Australia competed against each other in possibly the most controversial Test Series in history. The most controversial ‘sandpaper gate’ incident marked this series forever in cricket’s history with Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft getting banned from all forms of cricket for a year.
However, before the ball tempering incident, there was a verbal banter between David Warner and South Africa wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock that nearly resulted in a physical tussle.
The former protea skipper has launched his book, Faf: Through Fire, in which he has mentioned the events from the infamous series. While Faf didn’t speak anything against Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft. However, when asked about Warner, Du Plessis told BBC, “He was a bully. I don’t have time for bullies.”
While the ball tempering happened during the third test, Faf’s comments must have more relation with the happenings of the first test in Durban. David Warner reportedly kept sledging Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock. He was involved in a heated discussion with de Kock. Warner was even seen charging toward de Kock in the staircase while shouting at the South African wicketkeeper.
The heated discussion went so further that the Aussie players had to come to calm down Warner. The leaked CCTV footage had become the talk of the town which had also shown de Plessis coming out of the showers in a towel after he had heard loud noises just outside the dressing room.

Australia won the first test but the Proteas team came back really hard to win the next three back-to-back tests. In the third test, Cameron Bancroft was caught live on camera rubbing sandpaper on the ball in order to get some reverse swing which led to the ban on him as well as Smith and Warner who had instructed him to do so.
