Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad is all set to host the biggest Cricket match of the decade on November 19. Team India will feature in a Cricket World Cup final for the first time since 2011 and for this special occasion, BCCI has made special arrangements. A closing ceremony is scheduled to give a grand goodbye to the tournament. Here is all you need to know about ICC World Cup 2023 closing ceremony.

World Cup 2023 Closing Ceremony Date and Time

The closing ceremony will take place before and during the World Cup final match between India and Australia. After the toss, at 1:35 PM, the Indian Air Force will be carrying out a flypast in Ahmedabad’s sky. Later, various Indian singers will perform during the innings break.

Will Dua Lipa perform in the CWC Closing Ceremony?

Internationally popular singer Dua Lipa was featured in a Star Sports show where she answered queries from Indian and New Zealand players. After which rumoured abuzz that she might perform in the World Cup FInal. However, reports have denied such claims and she is not going to perform in the World Cup 2023 final ceremony.

Chief Guest in WC Final Ceremony

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the India vs Australia final as Chief Guest. Alongside Modi, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia Richard Marles will be taking a seat. Also, former ODI World Cup winners, including captains Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni, have been invited. During halftime of the match, the BCCI will honor and facilitate them for India’s triumphs in the 1983 and 2011 World Cups.
