RCB’s thumping victory against Rajasthan Royals at a very crucial stage of the season charged up their dressing room. Virat Kohli couldn’t hold his joy and mocked the RR batting lineup with his witty statement. ‘If I had bowled…’ – Virat Kohli takes a cheeky dig at RR batting lineup.

Faf Du Plessis and his men showed their best performance in the must-win game against RR. Their win on Sunday has kept their playoff hopes alive with two games to spare. On the other hand, they have almost knocked Rajasthan out of the race as now they can only reach 14 points mark.

Faf and Maxwell show once again rescue RCB sinking ship

After winning the toss Faf Du Plessis took the bold decision of batting first at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium. The RCB openers Virat and Faf took a steady start in a high-pressure game. Just after the end of the Powerplay Virat Kohli miscued a well-executed slower ball by KM Asif. Kohli departed after scoring 18 off 19 balls putting his team in trouble.

At number 3, the big show Maxwell arrived he started counter-attack straight away. He along with his captain made a great partnership to power the RCB total. Maxwell was the aggressor once again as they both scored hard-fought half-centuries.

With some late flourish by young Anuj Rawat RCB managed to score 171 runs in a tough wicket to at on.

In reply to the chase, the in-form batting lineup of RR tumbled badly. Their man in form Yashasvi Jaiswal was sent back to the pavilion with a duck on his name. RR’s main man Jos Buttler also registered a 2 ball duck in the chase.

The left-arm fast bowler Wayne Parnell who came in place of Hazelwood in the lineup displayed a match-winning performance. He picked the wickets of dangerous Buttler, captain Samson, and Joe Root.

Rajasthan was all out on 59 runs failing to play 11 overs of the innings.

The former RCB captain has a habit of teasing the opposition after victory. He did the same after defeating RR with a huge margin of 112 runs. In the dressing room, he pointed to his captain Faf and said “If I had bowled, they would have been all out for 40”

The fans are trolling Virat for his statement as they remind him of the time when Albie Morkel smashed him for 28 runs.
