In the ongoing ILT20, a funny incident took place in the game between MI Emirates and Desert Vipers. ILT20 2023: Kieron Pollard clears the Stadium twice; a passerby throws the ball back into the ground.

The ball often goes out of the park in the short stadium of Sharjah whenever a batsman smashes a huge six. In match number 21 of ILT20, Kieron Pollard sent the ball out of the park twice. The Desert Vipers bowlers looked vulnerable in front of Kieron Pollard as he turned back the clock.

The former West Indies captain showed his power in the game against Desert Vipers on Sunday. The MI Emirates scored 241 runs when they were asked to bat first. Muhammad Waseem scored 86 off 44 at the top with Andre Fletcher and the finishing touches were provided by non-other than Pollard.

Kieron Pollard made 50 off 19 and remained not out throughout the innings belting 4 sixes and 4 fours. The combined batting effort by Pollard, Waseem, and Fletcher took Emirates to 241 runs.

In reply, Vipers collapsed against the MI Emirates bowling attack. Desert Vipers were all-out on just 84 runs. Imran Tahir and Zahoor Khan took 2 wickets each, and Forrooqi was outstanding in his wicket spell.

During Pollard’s enormous hitting two of his shots went flying out of the stadium and landed on the nearby road. It is a busy road where Pollards six landed twice. After the first hit the ball landed on the road, one guy came and picked up the ball then refused to return it and went running away.

Then after the second hit the ball again landed on the road but this time there was a different guy who picked up the ball. The second posed with the ball for a selfie and then decides to return the ball back inside the stadium.

It is not the first occasion when the ball has been stolen by the crowd outside the stadium in Sharjah. In IPL 2020 MS Dhoni’s six landed on the road outside Sharjah stadium at that time as well the guy outside refused to return the ball back.
