He was always the first choice to play the opening Test but it will depend on skipper Virat Kohli, head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharath Arun,” said a senior BCCI source to Times Now.

Kuldeep Yadav’s exclusion from the team has been a topic of debate recently. When Yadav made his debut for the team, he was touted as the next big thing after a string of brilliant performances. The chinaman bowler made his debut in 2017 against Australia and impressed everyone with his skills. It’s been over a year since the left-arm spinner starred in the playing XI. At the moment, it looks like India Vs England 2021 2nd Test Team might not include Yadav as well.
