India vs New Zealand 5 match T20 series is currently underway. The pressure is currently on New Zealand as India are 2-0 up in the series. As India chased New Zealand’s score easily in first two matches, in the 3rd t20 match, New Zealand won the toss elected to field.

However, New Zealand found themselves under pressure after as both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a firing start to India’s innings. Both made an 89-run partnership for the first wicket. Virat Kohli made a change in the batting order as he sent Shivam Dube ahead of him at no.3.

Colin Munro faced a blow during India vs New Zealand

But the decision didn’t turn out to be a good one as both Rohit and Dube lost their wickets in same over after scoring after 65 and 3 respectively. However, India managed to put 179 on the board with the help of small partnerships at the end.

New Zealand too had a decent start of their innings. But like India, they lost both set batsman in the quick succession. Colin Munro faced a heavy blow during the innings. The incident happened during the 4th over which was bowled by Mohammed Shami. Cops a blow on the chest and Munro immediately grunted out in pain. He completes the single and was down again. The physio was out and Munro was fine to resume.

When this article was posted, Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson was holding the situations for New Zealand. Williamson was batting at 63 runs and the team needed 52 runs off 30 balls.
