Indian Cricketers Celebrated International Dog Day, Watch Videos and Pics

International Dog Day every year celebrated on 26th August. On this day animals-lover celebrates the existence of the beautiful creatures. However, in the United States of America, this day is observed as a national holiday. According to the National Dogs Day website, this holiday was founded back in 2004 by animal advocate, Colleen Paige.

Why Dog Day Celebrated?

International Dog Day is celebrated every year on 26th August. A Dog Day website has given some explanation that why this day is celebrated. “Dogs put their lives on the line every day…for personal protection, for law enforcement, for the disabled, for our freedom and safety by detecting bombs and drugs and pulling victims of tragedy from the wreckage,” the website says while explained this Day.
