Indian fast bowler Navdeep Saini is set to start a new chapter of his life as he has tied the nuptial knot with his girlfriend Swati Asthana, in what is indeed one of the most memorable moments of his life. The Indian paceman couldn’t be any happier as he got hitched to his long-time girlfriend today in a private marriage ceremony. The 31-year-old took to his official Instagram handle and shared the dazzling pictures from the wedding.

The bride and groom look million dollars in their respective suits and the pictures of the same garnered traction on social media portals. Soon after he posted the pictures from the wedding, countless people from across quarters, including former and current cricketers, fans, followers and well-wishers dropped their best wishes for the newly married couple in the comments section.

The Indian cricketer, Navdeep Saini took to his micro-blogging handle and then posted pictures along with a sweet caption and the marriage date, which reads, “With you, every day is a day of love. Today, we decided on forever! Seeking all your blessings and love as we start a new chapter of our life on my special day  23.11.23”

Saini’s friends and cricketers such as Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Rahul Tewatia and Mohsin Khan sent their best wishes to the cricketer. Even India’s fast bowling sensation Mohammed Siraj posted a congratulatory message to Navdeep Saini whereas India’s young attacking batter Ishan Kishan liked the post on Instagram.

Navdeep Saini’s last international appearance came against Sri Lanka in a T20I match in 2021 and since then, he has been out of the current scheme of things. His injuries have been a major concern for him but still, he has a few good years of cricket left in him. The right-arm fast bowler represented the nation across all formats as he played 2 Tests, 8 ODIs and 11 T20Is. He took 4 wickets in Tests, 6 wickets in ODIs and 13 wickets in T20Is.

He has played for the Delhi cricket team in domestic cricket since 2013. On the other hand, he represents Rajasthan Royals in the cash-rich Indian Premier League. Overall, he has played 32 games in the IPL, in which he took 23 wickets and registered his best bowling figures of 3/40.
