Both the teams are struggling with a few injury issues due to which cricket fans might see a couple of changes in the combination. However, the team management will look to field their best playing XI in the all-important game.
While Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera are not yet fit to play in the Sri Lankan XI, Maheesh Theekshana suffered an injury in the game against Pakistan. The only selection dilemma that the team management might face is whether to select Axar Patel or Shardul Thakur at number 8. Axar suffered an injury in the game against Bangladesh and Washington Sundar has been added to the team as his cover.
