IPL 2020: List Of All Trade Players For Upcoming Season

IPL Governing Council has set the deadline of 14 November for the trading and releasing players from the squad. Franchises have to trade players before this date and all franchises will announce their released players’ list on 14 November. After which they will not be able to make any changes to the squad until IPL 2020 Auction where they can buy new players. IPL 2020 Auction is scheduled to take place on 19 December in Kolkata.

7 Players traded in 4 Trade Deals for IPL 2020

Trade Deal 1: In July, Mumbai Indians had made the first deal with Delhi Capitals by trading Mayank Markande for the all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford.

Trade Deal 2: The second deal was between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals as KXIP traded former skipper Ravichandran Ashwin for the spinner Jagadeesha Suchith. After Ashwin, KXIP might name KL Rahul as their new captain.

Trade Deal 3: Pacer Ankit Rajpoot is 2nd player who is traded by Kings XI Punjab. Ankit has been traded to Rajasthan Royals and in this deal, KXIP is getting all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham from Royals.

Trade Deal 4: In another trade, Delhi Capitals have released New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult to defending champions Mumbai Indians. The IPL called the Boult deal a ‘trade’, but Mumbai did not release any player in exchange. According to ESPNcricinfo, the New Zealand fast bowler has been bought by Mumbai as part of an all-cash deal.

Now as Trent Boult is the part of the Mumbai Indians, their bowling line-up is looking very dangerous. Death-over bowlers play a crucial role in T20 cricket while Mumbai Indians is blessed with the best death-over bowlers. They had Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga and now Trent Boult will also play for them. Now, the report is that Mumbai Indians are going to release Mitchell McCleneghan. Also opening batsman Evin Lewis to be released by Mumbai.
