So far in the Indian Premier League history, Chennai Super Kings is one of the best teams. Before IPL 2020 season, CSK has qualified in the play-offs in every edition, however, in IPL 2020, the team have not looked that much balanced and this is why the team management decided to release 6 big players from their squad. CSK Is Likely To Buy Dawid Malan, Maxwell, Smith In Playing Squad For IPL 2021

On Thursday, when CSK management released their six players for IPL 2021, the hopes to add Dawid Malan, Glenn Maxwell and Steve Smith in playing set arise.

Dawid Malan: English batsman Dawid Malan who bats left-handed can be a good option for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. In the absence of Shane Watson, Malan can take the charge of batting unit in the upper order. In T20s his record is really impressive and CSK will definitely look to invest money on him.

Glenn Maxwell: Australian middle-order batsman Glenn Maxwell is also a good option for the Chennai batting unit. However, in the last season, his stats not look good and his average was only 15.42. That’s why Kings 11 Punjab released him from their squad. But Maxwell power-hitting can make difference for any team if he played his natural game. And Chennai management will also be looking to add him in the squad.

Steve Smith: After releasing Shane Watson, CSK will also be looking for a batsman who can bat with consistency and Steve Smith is a good option to full-fill this demand. Ahead of Ipl 2021 mini-auction, Rajasthan Royals has released him from their squad.
