The second leg of IPL kicks off from the 19th of September with the Final to be held to 15th October. The IPL 2021 was suspended previously due to the hike in the Covid cases in India in the month of May. Now the BCCI has rescheduled the IPL to conduct the remaining 31 matches of the competition. Here’s the new schedule of the IPL 2021.
The 2nd leg of the IPL 2021 will be completed in 27 days according to the Schedule. A total of 3 venues in UAE, namely, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah will be hosting the matches of the 14th edition of IPL. There will be a total of 7 doubleheaders, 13 single-match days followed by 4 play-offs in the 2nd leg of IPL 2021 according to the new schedule.

According to the official website of IPL 2021, the schedule is subject to change. According to the sources, in the new schedule, the Final of IPL 2021 will date October 10th. This change in the schedule will help the IPL conclude in just 21 days. A total of 10 doubleheaders, 7 single-match days, and 4 playoffs will consist the new schedule of the 2nd leg of IPL 2021. The BCCI has to implement this change in order to leave ample time for the players to prepare for T20 World Cup 2021.
