The good news for the Punjab Kings camp is that their costliest player of the Auction Sam Curran will be available for the whole season. Sam Curran became the most expensive signing in the history of IPL when PBKS bought him for 18.5 Crore INR in the mini auction 2023.

On the other hand PBKS also spent hefty amount of money on another English player Liam Livingstone in the Mega auction 2022. PBKS paid 10.6 Crore INR for the explosive all-rounder Liam Livingstone.

He did play some handy knocks for them in his first season with them and PBKS would expect more of them in the upcoming season.
