IPL 2024-bound Player files Police Complaint against his Ex-Girlfriend

IPL, the Cricket’s carnival is just around the corner, with less than three months to go. Many players have already kicked off their preparations and are eager to make a mark in the high-stakes league. Amid this, there’s some not-so-good news about Rajasthan Royals’ star player, KC Caricappa. He is making headlines for the wrong reasons.

Rajasthan Royals’ leg-spinner KC Cariappa filed a complaint against his ex-girlfriend

KC Cariappa has filed a police complaint against his ex-girlfriend. As per the cricketer, she is threatening to ruin his cricketing career and also warned his family members of the consequences. The Rajasthan Royals player disclosed that he entered into a relationship with her without being aware that she was a drug and alcohol addict.

According to the complaint, Karriappa multiple times asked her to quit addiction, but unfortunately, it proved unsuccessful. Eventually, he had to end the relationship forcefully. However, she began threatening him, claiming she would commit suicide and placing the blame on him. The police are currently investigating the matter.

A year ago, the same woman had filed a police report against KC Karriappa, alleging that he had impregnated her and subsequently gave her abortion pills. She had asserted that the cricketer had made promises of marriage.

KC Karriappa resides in Bangalore and has been part of the Indian Premier League since 2015. In his career, he has been part of three IPl franchisees; KKR, PBKS, and RR. However, he has played only 11 matches so far in his IPL career with yet to make a debut for Rajasthan Royals. He has warmed the bench for the pink-attired side in the last 3 seasons.

Rajasthan Royals has retained him for IPL 2024 season for 30 Lakh rupees. He is currently 29 years old and has been part of the IPL for last 8 years but hasn’t received much recognition.
