Cameraman focuses on the coin during the PBKS vs MI toss

Ahead of the 33rd match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Chandigarh, an interesting incident happened at the toss which made the headlines. PBKS’ stand-in captain Sam Curran, in person, verified the toss result even before the match referee picked up the coin. The cameraman zoomed in on the coin just to confirm that the Mohali-based franchise had won the toss and opted to field first.

The game had everything to keep the fans on the edge of their seats at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur in Chandigarh. Batting first, the five-time IPL champions posted a challenging total of 192 for the loss of 7 wickets in their designated quota of 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 78 off 53 balls, laced with seven fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 147.17.
