The biggest T20 League is all set to commence in March and its Auction is expected to take place in UAE during February. However, all the 10 teams have already shortlisted their captaincy contenders for the upcoming season. Here is the list of captains for all the 10 teams participating in IPL 2024.
Captaincy is one of the most crucial roles when it comes to a format like T20 where there is a very limited time to make decisions. In the captaincy role, we have often seen players who have calm and composed brains tend to handle the pressure better than those who have an aggressive approach.
Captains like Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, and Kane Williamson have tasted success due to their calm and collective thinking. On the other hand, established aggressive captains like Virat Kohli have struggled to win a single season.
The IPL 2023 is Approaching and we can expect teams to prefer calm players to appoint captains for their sides.
