A total of 1097 players have registered for the upcoming auction of the Indian Premier League. Out of 1097, 814 players are from India while 283 are overseas players. Most of the overseas players are from West Indies (56) followed by Australia and (42) and South Africa (38). 27 players are from associate nations (countries that don’t play test cricket). Yesterday, ahead of IPL auction 2021 BCCI revealed the list of players with price.
Likes of Kedar Jadhav and Harbhajan Singh have placed themselves in the highest IPL 2021 base price list. There are a total of 6 base price categories. The highest base price is 2 crore while the lowest is 20 lakh. Here below is the price of players who have registered for the IPL 2021 auction.
IPL Auction 2021 List of Players with 2 Crore Base Price
A total of 11 players are in the highest 2-crore rupees bracket. The list includes two Indians Kedar Jadhav and Harbhajan Singh. Both have been released by CSK this year. Former Rajasthan Royals captain Steve Smith is also hoping for a big bid. The Australian was getting a 12.5 crore salary from the Rajasthan franchise.
Smith’s fellow Aussie teammate Glenn Maxwell is also in the same category. Former Kings XI Punjab batsman had bagged a whopping 10 crore at the last auction. However, his performance was not up to the mark. This year Maxwell was among 9 players released by the Punjab team.
Shakib Al Hasan who faced a 1-year ban has also registered himself in the top category. Before this season, the Bangladesh all-rounder was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad. There are 5 England players in the top category while Colin Ingram is the only South African in the IPL 2021 2-crore base price list. Surprisingly no Caribbean player is in the category. 1.5 Crore Base Price Players
There are 12 players in the IPL auction 2021 auction list of players with a price of 1.5 crore. Dawid Malan who will be a bid to look out for is in this category. The English opener’s T20 stats are outstanding. In 19 international T20s, Malan has aggregated 855 runs which include 9 fifties and 1 century. He is expected to get a big bid for the cash-rich league.

Adil Rashid’s bid will also begin from this base price. England leg-spinner has not played in the IPL yet. However, if all goes well, the experience of leggie may get him a bag full of money. Besides, Malan and Rashid, there are 5 more English players on the list. The list has one Afghanistan player Mujeeb Ur Rahman and 4 Australians including Alex Carey.

IPL 2021 Base Price List of 1 Crore
There is a list of 5 players who have registered for IPL Auction 2021 with a price of 1 crore. Australian captain who represented RCB last season will be eying another good deal. In IPL 2020, Finch didn’t perform as per the expectation but franchises can’t ignore the ability of limited-overs specialist.
Along with Finch, Marnus Labuschagne has placed himself in the 1-crore category. The 26-year old batsman has cemented his place in Aussie in the 2-year period. It will be his debut in the cash-rich league action. Labuschagne’s recent performance against India may help him getting a contract. Sreesanth, Pujara, Arjun Tendulkar also registered
S Sreesanth will be eying a comeback after more than 7 years. The pacer last played in the league in 2013 as he faced a ban for alleged match-fixing. Earlier, the 37-year old played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Kerala. He has decided a base price of 75 lakh. India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has surprised everyone by registering his name. He said if given an opportunity he can do well in IPL. Pujara’s name is among 50 lakh category players. Arjun Tendulkar’s bid will attract many eyes. Son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar registered with a base price of 20 lakh. This year, Arjun Tendulkar played 2 matches for Mumbai in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy which make him eligible for the auction.
