2020 was perhaps one of the most challenging year for everyone. From businesses shutting down to a pause in sporting activities, everything came to an uncertain halt. At one point of time, it looked pretty difficult to get things going again, but cricket around the world is back and running. Courtesy of the bio-bubble model initiated by England and Wales Cricket Board; things have started to look good again. Ex India cricketer Irfan Pathan has expressed his views on bio-bubble fatigue that players are complaining of.
The action resumed in July when ECB created a bio-bubble for the players and has been hosting different teams since then. Cricket bodies around the world followed the same pattern and thus cricket returned on the TV screens again for the fans. Even the fans have been allowed in the stadiums now under strict protocols.
The players have to stay indoors most of the time and they can’t roam around here and there leaving the bio-bubble. This has created problems for players and quite a few of them even pulled out of certain series/tournaments. Former Indian pacer Irfan Pathan feels that the players should stop complaining and rather be grateful that at least cricket is going on.

“I believe we should take the world as it is. We all know that it is a difficult time. People are losing their jobs. For cricketers and sportsmen, if sports is going around the world, even with the five-star prisons, no one should complain. You have got to make sure you enjoy every bit of it,” said Pathan speaking to CricTracker.
Irfan Pathan was recently seen in Lanka Premier League where he played for Kandy Tuskers. Pathan even shared his wish to play if he gets enough time. Pathan wished the Indian youngsters to do well in Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Indian squad is currently engaged in a four-match Test series with the Aussies. After losing the first match, the team fought back strongly and went on to win the Boxing Day Test.
Pathan during his conversation also picked his T20I team of 2020 which included three Indian players namely Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah. He picked Kane Williamson as the captain of his team.
