Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja was recently seen in cricketing action during the Test opener against England in Hyderabad, where he sustained a hamstring injury during the second innings while taking a single. Just as when he was sprinting towards the non-striker’s end, Ben Stokes collected the ball and hit the bull’s eye, bringing Jadeja’s innings to a close. The all-rounder was subsequently ruled out of the Vizag Test as well.
Meanwhile, Anirudhsinh Jadeja made the headlines after he opened up about the abandoned relationship with Ravindra Jadeja or Rivaba Jadeja. It seems that there hasn’t been a smooth sailing relationship between Ravindra Jadeja’s father and his son, which has changed considerably after the cricketer’s marriage to Rivaba Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja’s father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja also expressed his sad feelings about the family’s bond that got weakened. Jadeja’s father also went on to accuse Rivaba of breaking harmony in the household and things haven’t been the same since then. “Let me tell you the truth, I have no relation of any kind with Ravi (Ravindra Jadeja) or his wife Rivaba Jadeja. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us,” he added there hasn’t been any open or honest communication between them.
“Controversies started happening only after two to three months of Ravi’s marriage. At present, I live alone in Jamnagar, Ravindra lives separately,” Anirudh Singh Jadeja said as quoted by Dainik Bhaskar.“Don’t know what magic the wife has cast on him. He is my son, my heart burns to ashes. It would have been better if he had not got married. It would have been better if he had not become a cricketer. We would not have been in this situation,” he added.
Meanwhile, on February 1, Jadeja took to his official Instagram handle and shared a training video post his hamstring injury. He was spotted doing brisk runs at the National Cricket Academy. Just a couple of days later, he chipped in with another update on his rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru where he clicked a pic of himself smiling with two thumbs-up gestures along with a caption that reads, “Getting better”.
Perhaps, he has almost recovered from the injury and is expected to be back in action for the third Test against England in Rajkot, slated to be played on February 15, Thursday. As per the reports, Jadeja is likely to feature in the upcoming Test match. “All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also shown good progress after being sidelined with a hamstring injury. The team management is confident that he will be available to play at his home ground as well,” the BCCI official told the Indian Express.
