Jos Buttler has been in red-hot form ever since the inception of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. The Rajasthan Royals opener amassed plenty of runs in the first half of the tournament and has been on the Top on the list of leading run-scorer in the current season. Rassie Van der Dussen’s wife mistaken as Buttler’s wife

It is a common sight in the IPL where the wives and family of players cheer for their team and encourage them from the stands. Rassie Van der Dussen’s wife Lara has been a constant feature of RR’s matches and is seen hooting and cheering for the team. Interestingly, a lot of fans mistook her as the wife of Jos Buttler who has been in scintillating form this year.

Rassie Van der Dussen’s wife Lara was a part of The Royals podcast along with Dhanashree Verma and Prithi Ashwin where she hilariously accepted Jos as her second husband. “I think I’ve now adopted Jos as my second husband it seems. I’ve been known as Louise, I think that’s what his wife’s name is, I haven’t met her before that makes it worse. People think I’m Jos’ wife. I definitely think it’s because I’ve been in camera quite a few times,” said Lara on the podcast.

Rassie Van der Dussen’s wife has been a regular supporter of the team even though her husband hasn’t played many games for the team this year. Van der Dussen was bought by the franchise for INR 1. Crore in the Mega-Auction 2022. As for Jos Buttler, the batsman has amassed 718 runs in 15 innings that he has played. He is most likely to win the Orange Cap this year and the second highest run-scorer is KL Rahul whose team has already been eliminated.
