Jerseys of All 10 Teams For Cricket World Cup 2023

Here are the kits, all ten sides will don in ICC World Cup 2023.

Jerseys of India, New Zealand and England

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is just less than a week away from getting underway. The highly-anticipated event will be staged entirely in India for the first time and it remains to be seen which team defies the odds and comes through with flying colours. West Indies, the two-time ODI World Cup champions failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in their history.

The ODI World Cup will kick off on October 5 as New Zealand will lock horns with England in the tournament opener at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before that, all the ten participating teams will be busy participating in the warm-up games to get accustomed to the conditions. The warm-up games started today and it will come to a close on October 3.

Meanwhile, the teams have already unveiled their new jerseys ahead of the start of the marquee tournament. Let’s take a glimpse at the ICC World Cup 2023 jerseys of every team below.

1. India

Team India launched their jersey for the upcoming World Cup. The Men in Blue will be donning the jersey that is dominated by traditional blue colour along with orange stripes at the borders. Notably, the tri-colour in the left and right shoulder line is the icing on the cake. Team India won two ODI World Cup titles in their history.

2. Australia

Australia are the most successful team in the history of the ODI World Cup as they have won a record five honours and decorated their illustrious trophy cabinet. Pat Cummins and Co will be sporting the golden yellow jersey with shades of famous baggy green at the edges.

3. England

England clinched their maiden ODI World Cup in the 2019 edition when they beat New Zealand based on the boundary count rule. England cricketers will be wearing the new jersey for the tournament. It will have a dark blue shade including the faint blue stripes which bode really well along with the Three Lions on the left.

4. Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka won the ODI World Cup in 1996 when they beat Australia in the final to open their account. Dasun Shanaka and Co. will be donning the dark blue jersey for the mega event. The major highlight of this jersey is the Lion’s face is impregnated on the right side.

5. Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team won the first ODI World Cup in 1992 under the captaincy of Imran Khan by beating England in the final showdown. Babar Azam and Co will be wearing the dark green jersey for the World Cup. The jersey has a yellow star at the top left side.

6. South Africa

Despite having marquee players, the South African men’s cricket team neither won the World Cup nor reached the final in their history. Proteas’ official jersey for the marquee event has been unveiled recently. The jersey is deep green with detailed patterns of black in the sleeves.

7. New Zealand

New Zealand made it to the finals of the ODI World Cup on two occasions but lost to Australia and England in the 2015 and 2019 World Cup finals respectively. The New Zealand players will be sporting the all-black jersey, with lines of off-white colour running through the kit.

8. Bangladesh

Bangladesh national cricket team players will be sporting the deep green jersey for the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. The highlight of the jersey is the splash of red colour present at the sides and towards the neck as well.

9. Afghanistan

Afghanistan cricket team will be making its third consecutive appearance in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup. The Afghan players will be donning the new jersey for the World Cup, which comprises three colours namely blue, grey and red. The kit had a red border around the sleeves, which is appealing.

10. Netherlands

Netherlands defeated Scotland in an ICC World Cup qualifier match in Bulawayo to qualify for the World Cup. The Netherlands players will be sporting the traditional orange jersey with blue borders in it.
