In the capital city of Qatar, the third season of Legends League Cricket is taking place. Retired international cricketers from around the globe are participating in the tournament. Three teams are participating in the tournament with the name World Giants, India Maharajas, and Asia Lions.
India Maharajas consist of Indian players who retired from International cricket. The teams consist of the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, and Yusuf Pathan.
Asia Lions teams have all the retired players of the Asian region. The team is a mix of ex-Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Afghanistani, and Bangladeshi players.
In the World Giants team as the name suggests all the retired International players outside Asia are playing in this team. Aaron Finch is leading the World Giants side which has legends like Jacques Kallis, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, and Brett Lee.
The third edition of the league commenced on the 10th of March in Doha with the opening game between India Maharajas and Asia Lions.

The 2nd game of the LLC 2023 was played between India Maharjas and World Giants. Legendary Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh stunned everyone with an outrageous delivery in that match.

Regardless of Harbhajan’s brave effort, India Maharajas lost the game with 2 runs. While chasing a total of 167 runs they started well as their first wicket fell on 65 runs after 6 overs. After Uthappa’s dismissal, Raina and Gambhir formed a 65 runs partnership together but after their wicket fell India struggled to hit boundaries. In the end, fell 2 runs short.
