A bizarre incident took place during the game between LSG and SRH at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Frustrated home fans threw nut bolts at the opponent’s dugout as they complain about a no-ball call. Watch LSG Camp complains as Crowd throws objects at them.

An unwanted interruption occurs during the LSG vs SRH match

During the 19th over of the first innings Klassen and Samad were battling out to take the SRH score to a fighting total. Avesh Khan was bowling in the 19th over of the innings when one of his deliveries slipped from his hand.

Avesh bowled a beamer to Klassen which was clearly above the waist height but the umpire thought otherwise. The umpire gave it a legal delivery but the batter opposed the decision. According to the new rules, players can even challenge the umpire’s on-field decisions of wide and no ball.

However, the third umpire also stuck to the call of the on-field umpire which triggered the SRH fans.

SRH fans threw nut bolts at the LSG dugout

After the third umpire gave the wrong call despite the ball being seen clearly over the waist height SRH fans created a disturbance during the game. The Hyderabad crowd threw objects at the LSG dugout. The fans were even teasing LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir who sitting in the dugout by chanting Kohli’s name.

The Kohli chants were made following the on-field spat between Kohli and Gmabhir after the LSG vs RCB game.

After a wrong decision given in the favor of LSG the home crowd was fuming with anger. They started booing the umpires and also throw some objects inside the field which forced the umpires to stop the game.

The disturbance created by SRH fans affected the momentum of their own side only. Henrich Klassen and Abdul Samad were looking for a strong finish to make up the slow start. Due to the chaos from the crowd, the match was paused by the umpire when SRH was having great momentum.

During the mid-innings break Klassen expressed disappointment. He said “Disappointed, that’s not what you expect from the home crowd. Broke our momentum as well. Not so great umpiring either, hope they stay consistent,”
