While Australian opener Travis Head was batting in the crease an appeal was made for leg before. ‘Mai hota toh out deta’ – Virat Kohli trolls Umpire Nitin Menon after he denies India an LBW.
During the 139 runs partnership of Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne India, the bowlers looked very ordinary. The two players made sure that they don’t lose early wickets in the first session. There was just one occasion where the Travis Head was about to fall against Ashwin.
The veteran off-spinner almost trapped the Aussie opener while he was batting on 41 runs. Indian captain Rohit Sharma took a chance and went upstairs for the review. Luckily the batter got saved as the ball wasn’t completely hitting the stumps.
Virat Kohli trolls Umpire Nitin Menon
During Ashwin’s 14th over of the 2nd innings, the incident happened where Travis Head survived as the umpire’s decision was Not out.
The ball tracking showed that the ball was not properly hitting the stumps and in such case, the on-field umpire’s decision is considered as final call.
Nitin Menon who was umpiring at that moment gave it Not out at the first sight.

Menon’s decision made former Indian captain Virat Kohli furious. The player mocked the umpire afterward and said “Mai Hota toh Out Deta”. The sentence means “If I was batting he would have given me out”.
It is clearly evident that Virat Kohli doesn’t like Nitin Menon as he said those words on the field. While umpire Nitin Menon was telling Ashwin that the ball is going down the leg Virat Kohli started chirping.

Australia is on the verge of playing out a draw in Ahmedabad
Indian team is looking totally frustrated in Narendra Modi Stadium as Aussie batters are looking solid in the middle. The wicket is totally favoring the batters and bowlers are barely getting any assistance from the surface.
Travis Head who opened the innings with Matt Kuhneman yesterday in the final session reached 90 runs mark today. He went for a big drive against Axar Patel but got out in the process as his inside edge crashed onto the stumps.
On the other hand, his partner Marnus Labuschagne is not looking in any mood to play any rash short. Australia will easily draw this test match and India will win the series 2-1.
