Manoj Tiwary takes a dig at Virat Kohli over Rohit Sharma’s injury comment

A cloud of uncertainty looms over the injury to Rohit Sharma. There’s no clear indication of the extent of his injury and recovery. India captain Virat Kohli spoke of Sharma’s injury at a press conference on eve of the first one day international against Australia.

However, Bengal batsman Manoj Tiwary took a rather uncalled for dig at the Indian Captain over his comment on Rohit Sharma’s injury.

At the press conference ahead of the first one day international against Australia, Virat Kohli spoke of the confusion that has been surrounding the injury to Rohit Sharma.

The captain expressed lack of clarity and his exposure to the player’s (Rohit Sharma) issue that has led to him been unsure of the extent of the injury or how long he’ll be absent from the game. As Kohli said, “It’s been very confusing and a lot of uncertainty and lack of clarity around the situation.”

Responding to Virat Kohli’s comments at the press conference, Bengal and India player, Manoj Tiwary took a rather uncalled for dig at Virat Kohli through a post on Twitter.
Tiwary picked a line off WWE superstar “The Rock” and wrote – “Lack of clarity has different meaning when it comes out from the mouth of two different individuals. If u smeeeellllllll Wat d rock is cooking” with a emoji that’s looking “unsure”. The “lack of clarity” being the dig at what Kohli addressed to the press earlier.

Rohit Sharma’s Injury
India opener Rohit Sharma suffered a hamstring injury while playing at the Indian Premier League (IPL) that was held last month. Following the injury, Sharma was ruled out of the one day internationals and the T20s series in Australia.rnational (T20I) series. However, Rohit Sharma has been added to the Test squad.

India is scheduled to play Australia across 3 ODIs, 3 T20s and a four-match Test Series.
