Royal Challengers Bangalore had to suffer humiliation on Monday as they were bowled out cheaply by the Kolkata Knight Riders. Mitchell McCLenaghan trolls RCB after the KKR game
Mitchell McCLenaghan who is generally seen active in the social media came up with a cheeky dig at the RCB side. The former Mumbai Indians all-rounder tweeted asking about his old Mumbai Teammate Quinton de Kock’s birth year. He wrote,” What year was @QuinnyDeKock69 born in?” Netizens could easily figure out that Mitchell is indirectly trolling RCB.
RCB, in a forgettable encounter against KKR was bundled out for just 92 runs. This RCB total was what Mitchell McCLenaghan was targeting through his tweet. Quinton de Kock was born in the 1990s, 92 to be specific, and that’s what made Mitchell’s tweet funny.

A disappointing start for RCB
Though the Kohli-led side had a brilliant 1st leg of IPL 2021, the team did not have a good start in the UAE leg. In their first match against KKR on Monday, RCB looked clueless as in no point in the match they were in a good position. As soon as the match started RCB lost Kohli in the second over itself and in the last over of the powerplay Devdutt Padikkal was sent back by Ferguson.

The star-packed middle over of RCB was completely out of order as Glenn Maxwell could only score 10 runs and ABD went back as soon as he came into the pitch. Russell cleaned him in the first ball he faced. The debutant Hasaranga also went back after a first ball duck.
The RCB bowlers did not have much to fight for and KKR chased the total easily in 10 overs. However there was no change in RCB’s position in the points table. They still stand at the 3rd position with 5 wins in eight matches. Kohli’s side will next face Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
