Mohammed Shami gives a savage reply to Rishabh Pant who tried to troll him over

The Indian pacer was quick to reply to Pant's cheeky tweet about his age

The Indian pacer Mohammed Shami turned 31 on 3rd September. Indian fans brought a cake for him in the stadium which he cut and celebrated his birthday. Shami is out of the 4th Test match because of a niggle, but he was present in the dugout following the game closely. Amongst all the birthday wishes, the cheeky tweet by Rishabh Pant caught the fancy of Mohammed Shami.

It’s evident by their online banter and even off the field relation that the Indian players share a beautiful bond with each other. Many a times, players have been seen pulling each other’s’ leg, all in good humour. Rishabh Pant who has become a household name after his Australia heroics, tried to get cheeky as he wished Mohammed Shami via his tweet.

Mohammed Shami replies to Pant’s tweet

Pant has always been a cheerful member of the team and brings a lot of joy on the field with his chatter. Taking a dig at Shami’s age, Pant wrote, “@MdShami11 bhai, ball aur umar dono tezi se nikli jaa rahi hai. Happy birthday!”, followed by laughter emojis. It translates in English to, “You are ageing as fast as your fast balls”. Though the tweet by Pant was hilarious, it backfired on him as Mohammed Shami gave a savage reply to his tweet.

Shami wrote, “Apna time aayega beta ball or Umar ko koi nahi rook sakta but motape ka treatment aaj bhi hota hai”. Translation: “Nobody can stop the ageing process but one can definitely stop themselves from getting fat.” This was definitely an outright savage reply by the Indian pacer which Pant would not have been hoping to get. Team India is playing the 4th Test against England and are in good position after the end of 3rd day’s play.
