Arshdeep’s deadly final over seals the game for PBKS

PBKS were asked to bat first and they responded brilliantly with a combined effort to take the score 214/5. Skipper Sam Curran was on song as he scored 55 off 29. In the end, talented Jitesh Sharma also played a great cameo which proved very useful later on in the game.

In a high-scoring run chase, Arshdeep Singh defended 15 runs in the last over against Tim David and Tilak Verma. The young left-arm pacer was all over the MI batting lineup as he removed opener Ishan Kishan and well-settled Suryakumar Yadav.

Whenever captain Sam Curran needed to tighten the grip on the match he asked his strike bowler Arshdeep to do the job.

Arshdeep finished with outstanding figures of 4/29 and sealed a valuable victory for his team.

PBKS Twitter admin teases MI fans with a witty post

After the victory against five-time champions Mumbai Indians, the Punjab Kings Twitter page admin tried to tease MI fans with a tweet in which they mentioned Mumbai Police.

The tweet was “Hey @MumbaiPolice, we’d like to report a crime”. PBKS posted a photo in which Arshdeep broke a stump with his pinpoint yorker to Tilak Verma.

PBKS admin sarcastically trolled the MI team while calling the Mumbai police to file a report of a crime on MI batters.

Arshdeep Singh’s yorkers demolished the stump from the middle. The ball which destroyed 30 lakh rupees advanced stumps clocked around 140.

In reply, the Mumbai Police Twitter admin came to the rescue. Mumbai Police admin wrote, “Like Addhar for Indian citizens, trophy is mandatory for IPL franchise to report a FIR.” 

Punjab Kings are yet to win an IPL trophy and on the other hand, MI is the most successful team in the history of IPL. The Mumbai Police admin wanted to say mock PBKS for not having a single trophy.
