Usually, in international cricket, the host team and the nation’s cricket board take appropriate steps to make sure that the visiting team receives tremendous hospitality so much that they feel comfortable during the tour. When a visiting team arrive in the host country, the first and foremost thing that is looked out is the transport and logistics.

As a host country, they should make sure that everything including transport from the hotel to the cricket ground is planned and managed properly. As for the travelling, the buses or vans are arranged to carry players around for safety and convenience. Meanwhile, in a recent video clip that has been doing the rounds on social media, West Indies A team received the second-tier hospital from Nepal Cricket.

The video clip begins with the West Indies players carrying their own luggage and then lifting the objects up and over on a mini truck. Soon after loading their luggage on a truck, the players then board the bus, which apparently lacks sun shade for windows. The video clip of the same gained traction among the fans of the cricket fraternity, with the majority of the netizens expressing their views.

However, the majority of the netizens were satisfied with this hospitality, others trolled the Nepal Cricket board for not offering the highest hospitality in the first place. “I guess that’s okay Not every country has best of the infrastructure,” one user commented. The second user wrote, “chill and lets focus on game of cricket”. The third user wrote, “What’s there to laugh for the editor? Despite the hardships they’re still playing the game for their nation and passionate about it.”

“It’s completely fine. Not every board have the funds. Respect to the WI team, They understand the situation, and without any hiccups they are cooperative,” the fourth user wrote. Meanwhile, West Indies A tour of Nepal comprises five T20Is, with the opening fixture slated to be played on April 27, Saturday at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

“I am confident this Nepal tour marks a crucial step forward in our preparatory phase for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
