Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Guptill mentioned Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. He recalled his time with the Mumbai Indians in 2016, where he had the opportunity to open the innings alongside Rohit Sharma, who is arguably the greatest opener of the modern era.
Guptill stated that if he had to pick a batting partner, he would choose Rohit. He also added that he would love to face Hardik Pandya’s bowling one more time. “I’ve opened with him before, I enjoy batting with Rohit Sharma. And I would want to face Hardik Pandya. We have had some amazing battles over the years.” said Martin Guptill.
Guptill is Playing Legends 90 League
Meanwhile, Martin Guptill is playing in the Legends 90 League, which features several other former stars, including Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Chris Gayle, and Dwayne Bravo. The seven-team tournament began in Raipur on February 6, with the final set to be played on February 17. Guptill is representing the Chhattisgarh Warriors team.
