Team India’s star batter Virat Kohli took to Twitter on February 7 and shared the news about losing his new phone even before he could unbox it which left his fans surprised.

Food delivery app Zomato came up with a hilarious response to Virat Kohli’s tweet which has now gone viral across social media platforms.

Zomato’s witty reply to Virat Kohli goes viral

Team India’s former captain Virat Kohli recently took to the microblogging site Twitter and revealed that he lost his phone even before unboxing it. Cricket fans showed their concerns on the incident but were surprised and confused at the same time.

Virat Kohli tweeted, “Nothing beats the sad feeling of losing your new phone without even unboxing it Has anyone seen it?” He also added a sad emoticon to his tweet.

Within 30 minutes, popular food delivery platform Zomato came up with a solution to Virat Kohli’s problem and asked him to use his wife Anushka Sharma’s phone for ordering ice cream. Zomato hilariously tweeted, “feel free to order ice cream from bhabhi’s phone if that will help”

The tweet triggered numerous reactions from the cricket fans as most of them lauded the sense of humor. A few netizens also believe that this is just a marketing gimmick from the former Indian skipper and were displeased with the tweet.

Meanwhile, the viral tweet by Virat Kohli has already got 181k likes and has been retweeted 10.2k times by Twitter users. Zomato’s response tweet too garnered some attention as it has crossed 8k likes.

It’s worth noting that Zomato is known for its great advertising campaigns and never misses out on an opportunity to come up with hilarious and attention-seeking tweets and posts. Zomato’s epic response to Virat Kohli’s tweet did the same as it started a meme fest on Twitter.
