There was chaos on Twitter as Pakistan and Indian cricket fans clashed after an ICC (International Cricket Council) post went viral. The post by ICC mocked Pakistan batsman Hasan Ali in two contrasting images. The post didnt quite go well with Pakistan fans, leaving them furious and angered. On the other hand, their counterparts from India seeked a good opportunity in pulling off a joke or two over the post.
ICC’s Post Not Gone Well With Pakistan Fans
ICC (International Cricket Council) post or rather call it a meme featured two compiled images of Pakistan batsman Hasan Ali. Both images were Ali’s batting stance after playing a shot. The fist image, a cropped one was captioned as ‘the profile picture’, while the other a complete picture of the actual batting stance, captioned “the full picture” shows Hasan Ali in the same batting stance but with his middle stump uprooted.

Pakistan Fans Furious; Indians Mock
Pakistan cricket fans were completely shocked and upset over the post by the apex governing body of cricket. Some angered fans even accused the ICC of putting Pakistan cricketers in bad light through such posts, and found it disrespectful and completely ridiculous. Some event vented their frustration over ICC always favoring India. While all was not well at the Pakistan end, Indian fans took a dig at their neighbors and trolled the Pakistanis heavily over the post. The end of it saw a complete mess on twitter with fans from both sides virtual clashing with uncalled for exchanges.
Pakistan Win First Test
Pakistan got the better of South Africa in the first test played at Karachi as they ran away with a 7-wicket win. Fawad Alam’s century in the first innings was the backbone of the Pakistan first innings lead that also gave them an upperhand in the match. South Africa will look back at the opportunities missed, wherein they first had Pakistan on the ropes at 36/4 in the first innings and then had the game well in their favor in the second innings when they cautiously crept to 184/2, before losing the next 8 wickets for 61 runs. The second test will be held in Rawalpindi from February 4th.
