The Pakistan team have arrived in India after 7 years to participate in the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup which is set to begin on October 5. Ahead of the showpiece event, Pakistan Team’s menu card after reaching Hyderabad has been revealed which doesn’t include beef but makes sure to fulfill the daily protein requirements.

The Babar Azam-led side arrived in Hyderabad on September 28 where they got a warm welcome from the cricket fans. The Men in Green will stay in Hyderabad for the next two weeks where they’ll play their warm-up matches and the initial World Cup 2023 games as well.

Pakistan Team’s Menu for ODI World Cup 2023

A report by the Press Trust of India (PTI) has revealed the food menu that the Pakistan player will be offered during their stay in Hyderabad.

Pakistan has opted for a diverse food menu to meet the daily protein requirements of their 15-member squad for the ODI World Cup 2023. The menu relies on chicken, mutton, and fish as beef is not available for all the 10 participating teams.

The menu for the Men in Green includes some mouthwatering options such as succulent grilled lamb chops, rich and flavorful mutton curry, the butter chicken, and sumptuous grilled fish to provide the necessary protein boost to their players during the all-important tournament.

The food menu also includes a few carbohydrate-rich choices such as steamed basmati rice, spaghetti prepared in the savory Bolognese sauce and a vegetarian pulao.

The players have also got a few options as their cheat meal in which they can have the delectable Hyderabadi biryani in order to make their first trip to India memorable.

The warm up games ahead of the World Cup will start on September 29. Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram are the two venues that will host the warm-up matches apart from the 10 venues where the league games will be played.

The Pakistan side will play their first warm-up game against New Zealand in Hyderabad on September 29. The Men in Green will then face the Aussie team in their second warm-up match on October 3 before going into the main event.
