Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: ICC Takes A Dig At Pakistan Cricket Board

On Friday, the first ODI match of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka has been abandoned due to heavy rain in Karachi. However, it was a disappointing moment for the Pakistani fans and players as PCB was hosting match after a decade. The first game of the ODIs series was called off without delivering a single ball.

Meanwhile, the rain was that much strong, it has not only affected the first ODI but also shifted the date of 2nd ODI too. Actually, earlier the second ODI was going to held at the same venue on Sunday. But now Cricket governing body stated that now the second ODI will schedule on Monday.

But as soon as the date of the second ODI shifted, ICC has come up with a hilarious tweet to announce the new date for the match.

ICC added in the caption, “The second ODI of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka series at Karachi has been rescheduled from Sunday 29 September to Monday 30 September due to the rain which washed out the first ODI. Have you ever heard of rain so heavy it washes out a game two days away?!”
