The fourth season of the Lanka Premier League is off and running with some breathtaking action. Five teams are participating in the tournament and after 24 matches the winner will be decided. It is a wicket where batters love to bat as the ball comes nicely onto the bat especially when the seamers are bowling. Spinner also gets a decent amount of purchase of this surface, especially during the second innings.
Overall the pitch is a bit dry which results in a few balls getting stuck on the surface which makes the strokeplay difficult in the second innings. The toss winner should opt to bat first on this wicket considering the minimal help the fast bowlers get on this pitch.
