However, he feels Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is a bit better as compared to his RCB counterpart.

Patel backs himself by stating that Rohit Sharma is sound in his decision making and understanding the situation of the game at a given point. “The talk is about who takes a better decision, who reads the game better, who makes a better decision in a pressure situation which helps a team win – In that regard, Rohit Sharma as a captain is slightly better than Virat Kohli”, Patel added.

Rohit has been one of the most successful captains in the Indian Premier League, winning five titles in the span of seven years (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020). Rohit could carry his captaincy experience onto the national team, especially in the shorter format of the game where he has been so dominant both as a player and a captain.
