Home ground to one of the most successful BBL franchises of all time, Optus Stadium, Perth is set to host six Perth Scorchers matches December 26 onwards, the pitch report and T20 records for which are shared hereon.
Perth Scorchers were to play all seven of their home fixtures of the league stage at the Perth Stadium, first of which was held on December 17 against Sydney Sixers. The Scorchers had won that match by a comfortable margin of 38 runs.

Perth Cricket Stadium pitch report for BBL 2023-23
Lateral movement during the first six overs is a staple at the Optus Stadium and therefore, fast bowlers are often the ones dominating proceedings here. Extra bounce is also on offer throughout the match.
Perth Scorchers have built their bowling attack to suit the pitch on offer and have the most dependable new-ball duo in Jason Behrendorff and Jhyle Richardson.
The square boundaries of at Perth are huge. Bowlers can use them to their advantage and force the batsmen to clear the longer fence, just like Sam Curran did to claim 5 for 15 during the ENG vs AFG clash at recent T20 WC.
